My record keeping is seriously lacking though I think of tidbits to post and share quite often. We have been busy moving into a new location and though we are far from settled, we are enjoying ourselves in the new space.
May was an important and busy month not just because of the moving, but we also hosted guests every week. Dad came for Jared's chorus concert on the 8th, Mom came for a few days starting the 13th, and Matthew's mom joined us the 21st and just barely flew home on the 6th. It was wonderful to have family with us and both moms were a really big help with the moving process.
Matthew's drill weekend fell while Mom was here and we were able to witness a change of command ceremony for a 2 star general. It was really interesting - and a blessing because it gave Matthew an extra two weeks to prepare for his PT test. The next drill weekend occurred the 1st and 2nd of June along with the PT test that would make or break our future. I headed to Maryland with Matthew's mom and the boys to attend a Bar Mitzvah celebration and prayed hard for Matthew's success. Happily, Matthew successfully completed his run and earned the right to attend paralegal school this summer. YAY! I am so proud of him and excited that he finally gets to fulfill his dreams.
