Comforts of Home

Up until a few years ago, I would stress-eat until I could figure out what was stressing me. Then once the source was pinpointed, I could regain control of my eating. But something somehow changed that. Now I can know I'm stres-eating and know the source and still eat. There is someone new in our ward whose husband was gone for 2 months and she lost 17 pounds. I've gained that much in two months. I hate it. It feels gross. My 'fat' pants are now tight. I can tell my muscles are gone. But I just can't bring myself to stop eating or to exercise. I had every intention of getting up last week at 5:30 to get on the treadmill and shower before the boys were up for school, but when I have a child up at 4 am and then not going back to sleep until 5, there was no way I was going to get on the treadmill that morning. And it pretty much went like that for most of the week. Maybe this week will be better. It has got to stop.
